Students and A.M. Dais host farmers market to combat food insecurity in the Bronx

A number of courageous younger advocates from I.S. 229 Roland Patterson challenged Mayor Eric Adams at a city corridor assembly  at River Park Towers in regards to the meals insecurity of their neighborhood, highlighting the rotten produce usually bought at native grocery shops. To encourage participation, the workplaces of Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson and Council Member Althea Stevens distributed Well being Bucks, which permit residents to acquire contemporary, nutritious meals at little to no price.
