Xavier Worthy, Tia Jones Agree To Drop Lawsuits

Jones’s legal professional, Angelica Cogliano, agreed.

After Worthy was arrested on suspicion of an assault towards a household or family member by impeding their respiration after a home dispute with Jones, prosecutors determined to not file prices.

Jones then utilized for and obtained a protecting order after Jones accused Worthy of assault. She additionally precipitated property injury and scratched the soccer participant’s face.  She allegedly wouldn’t depart Worthy’s residence when he requested her to depart after discovering out she was dishonest on him.

Worthy refused to press prices towards Jones.

Worthy then filed paperwork towards Jones alleging that she had “schemed to extort a house, cash, vehicles, and different valuables … by concocting false tales of home violence.” The soccer participant was requesting damages between $250,000 and $1,000,000. Worthy’s legal professional, Chad Pinkerton, said within the lawsuit that Jones lied in regards to the incident resulting in Worthy’s arrest. She allegedly did so “for the only objective of her monetary acquire and (Worthy’s) break.”

Now, with the most recent motion, each will stroll away with none authorized repercussions.
