The predominately Black city of West Finish in Louisville, Kentucky, opened its first hospital in over 150 years.
Louisville, Kentucky’s majority-Black West Finish neighborhood, has welcomed its first native hospital in over 150 years.
Norton West Louisville Hospital, which started operations in November 2024, is already considerably impacting the local people. About 70% of the hospital employees are native residents, and their sturdy ties to the realm have made the hospital a key connection level for all sorts of care.
