Woman sues Cardi B for assault after viral mic-throwing incident in 2023

Rapper Cardi B is going through assault and battery prices after allegedly hitting a lady with a microphone two years in the past whereas performing in Las Vegas.

 The girl, recognized as Jane Doe, went to Cardi’s headline present at Drai’s Beachclub on July 29, 2023, whereas on her first solo journey to Las Vegas, in line with a grievance filed within the Eighth Judicial Court docket in Clark County, Nevada, Folks reviews.

 Doe claims Cardi “additional demonstrated her consent and participation by pouring water from a bottle over her physique whereas onstage,” plus she “bodily reacted to splashes by slapping her posterior whereas audience-thrown liquids made contact together with her.”

After the incident, a prison battery investigation was launched towards the rapper, however the case was closed as a consequence of “inadequate proof.”
