Woman Receives Over 304 Calls From Ex Before His Arrest

304 calls is WILD!

A Pennsylvania lady’s ex-boyfriend, Omar Gaines, appeared at his preliminary listening to with Magisterial District Choose Jonathan R. Birbeck on Nov. 8, at 11:15 a.m., after he was arrested in Carlisle at some point after police arrived on the scene for a break-in on Oct. 30. 

In accordance with Cumberland Each day Voice, Carlisle police stated the arrest occurred “close to the sufferer’s residence.” The officers arrived after a name a few break-in at Gaines’ ex-girlfriend’s house. The incident occurred on the 300 block of North East Avenue in Carlisle.

A press release from the Carlisle Police Division revealed that the 45-year-old male had entered his ex-girlfriend’s residence. In the course of the investigation, police found that Gaines had arrived on the house at 5:07 a.m. In accordance with a press launch from the police, Gaines “remained for over (an) hour pacing backwards and forwards close to the facet home windows of the residence.” 

Between the time Gaines confirmed up at his ex-girlfriend’s house, and when the officers arrived on the scene, he referred to as the lady 203 occasions, in line with the outlet. He positioned an extra 101 calls whereas the officers investigated the scene, which police stated he managed to do inside a two-hour window.

This incident is just not the primary time Gaines has exhibited this conduct. Six days earlier than the prevalence, police spoke with Gaines about his persistent calls. On Oct. 24, he was reported to have positioned 131 calls to his ex-girlfriend. Police stated his perpetual calling and conduct resulted in his former girlfriend experiencing “emotional misery.”

In accordance with the outlet, he faces a misdemeanor for stalking, repeatedly speaking to trigger concern, and a abstract offense for harassment, defined as a course of conduct with no reputable function.
