White Police Officer Fired for Abusing a Black Couple Has the Audacity to File a Lawsuit

Nationwide — Andrew Zaborowski, a white police officer from Pennsylvania who was fired after violently arresting an African American couple, now claims he’s the sufferer of racism. He has filed a lawsuit saying he was terminated due to his race, with out providing any proof.

Based on Atlanta Black Star, Zaborowski, who was a Pennsylvania state trooper, filed the federal lawsuit on October 14, arguing that his firing violated the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Pennsylvania Human Rights Act. He alleges that Black troopers who dedicated worse misconduct saved their jobs, although his submitting affords no examples or proof.

His termination adopted a March 2024 visitors cease involving Celena Morrison, a transgender Black lady and then-executive director of Philadelphia’s Workplace of LGBT Affairs, and her husband, Darius McClean. Zaborowski stopped Morrison for alleged visitors violations. When McClean pulled over close by, Zaborowski compelled him to the bottom and handcuffed him. Morrison started filming, however mentioned the trooper punched her earlier than the digicam fell.

Each Morrison and McClean had been arrested on costs of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, however the costs had been later dismissed. Morrison has since filed her personal lawsuit towards the Pennsylvania State Police, accusing the division of discrimination and extreme pressure.

Roughly two months after the incident, Zaborowski was fired with out a listening to. His lawsuit names Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Christopher Paris as a defendant, claiming the firing was racially motivated as a result of each motorists had been Black and accused him of profiling.

Simply days later, one other white trooper, Daryl Jay Elias, filed a separate lawsuit towards the division. Elias alleged that range and inclusion insurance policies unfairly favored minority and feminine officers for promotions. He even linked these insurance policies to management failures in the course of the July 2024 taking pictures at Donald Trump’s rally in Butler County.

Each Zaborowski and Elias accuse the state police of “overcorrecting” previous racial bias by now discriminating towards white males.
