Trump Rebukes Newsmax Reporter as ICE Agents Deploy to U.S. Airports

President Donald Trump sparred with a Newsmax reporter throughout a tense alternate in West Palm Seashore, Florida, on Monday, as his administration moved forward with plans to deploy Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) brokers to U.S. airports amid an ongoing authorities funding standoff.

Chatting with reporters on the airport tarmac, Trump grew visibly irritated when Newsmax correspondent Mike Carter pressed him on Iran’s claims.

Carter questioned whether or not the administration was misrepresenting diplomatic efforts to finish the battle. Trump dismissed the assertion, suggesting Iran wanted “higher public relations folks.”
