Travie McCoy says Bruno Mars ‘doesn’t return’ his calls after their ‘Billionaire’ hit song

Travie McCoy’s Billionaire track with singer Bruno Mars was smash hit when it was launched in 2010. Regardless of the success of their collaboration, the Gymnasium Class Heroes band member not too long ago revealed that he hasn’t heard from Mars, 40, shortly. 

Talking with PEOPLE, McCoy, 44, initially touched on how he linked up with Mars, whose actual title is Peter Eugene Hernandez, to make the track. McCoy revealed that he and fellow musician T-Ache had been engaged on music earlier than he was launched to Mars. 

The rapper said that on the time, his A&R rep spoke about The Smeezingtons, which was a Los Angeles writing-producing group comprising Mars, Philip Lawrence, and Ari Levine. McCoy mentioned his A&R rep mentioned that the trio beloved the Gymnasium Class Heroes’ music.
