Thousands Of Black Women Thank Kamala Harris In Open Letter

Greater than 10,000 Black ladies have joined collectively to publicly thank former Vice President Kamala Harris in an open letter that cites the historic nature of her election together with the work she’s accomplished all through her spectacular profession in each regulation and public service.

The letter, which was signed partly by members of the Win With Black Ladies collective of organizers who supported Harris’ presidential candidacy, credit the previous vice chairman’s management on key political points reminiscent of reproductive justice and healthcare.

“Vice President Harris’ tenure as the primary girl and first Black vice chairman of america represents an unwavering dedication to justice and equality that won’t be dismantled,” Jotaka Eaddy, social affect strategist and founding father of Win With Black Ladies, mentioned in an announcement despatched to NewsOne. “Her management serves as inspiration to numerous people, particularly Black ladies, youngsters, daughters, sisters, moms, and grandmothers, exhibiting that with willpower and imaginative and prescient, limitations may be damaged and progress may be achieved. Your tireless work to champion causes reminiscent of voting rights, financial justice, healthcare, and fairness for marginalized communities exhibits your dedication to uplifting all of us, particularly those that have been missed for too lengthy.
