Shrimp and grits casserole is a comforting dish that’s nice for any day of the week, any time of the day. Shrimp, grits, cheese and bacon…this soul meals impressed seafood casserole is ideal for brunches, holidays, potlucks, and weeknight dinners.

How To Make Shrimp & Grits Casserole

Preheat oven to 375.

In a medium saucepan, carry the water & milk to a boil. Add the grits and butter, season with salt and pepper as desired, and stir to mix. Cowl, cut back warmth to medium and cook dinner, stirring often till thickened.

Let bacon come to room temperature. Add the bacon strips to a big, chilly pan. Cook dinner over medium warmth, turning the bacon as wanted,  till they attain the specified crispness. Roughly 8 to 12 minutes.

Generously spray the casserole dish with cooking spray.

Pour the grits combination evenly into the casserole dish. Prime with cheese.

Cowl with foil and again half-hour.

Take away the foil and bake an extra 10-Quarter-hour or till the middle is ready.
