Red Carpet Rundown: Atlanta Special Screening of Amazon MGM Studios “Sarah’s Oil”

Final night time, Amazon Studios hosted an unique purple carpet screening of SARAH’S OIL at Regal Atlantic Station in Atlanta.

Hosted by Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer Difficult Stewart, the night celebrated the upcoming movie, SARAH’S OIL, with a particular screening and a full of life post-film Q&A moderated by B. Simone. The dialogue featured Tamar Braxton, who performs “The Present” from the movie’s soundtrack; Derrick Williams, producer of the movie; Kenric Inexperienced, who stars within the venture; and Difficult Stewart, producer of “The Present.” Witness the highly effective true story of Sarah Rector in #SarahsOil, solely in theaters November seventh

Impressed by Tonya Bolden’s e-book, Sarah’s Oil tells the true story of Sarah Rector (Naya Desir-Johnson), an African American born in Oklahoma Indian Territory within the early 1900s, who believes there may be oil beneath the barren land she’s allotted and whose religion is confirmed proper. As grasping oil sharks shut in, Sarah turns to her household, mates and a few Texas wildcatters to keep up management of her oil-rich land, quickly turning into one of many nation’s first feminine African American millionaires at solely 11 years previous. Sarah’s Oil is directed by Iranian-American author / producer / filmmaker Cyrus Nowrasteh, director of the movies Veiled Menace, The Island,

The Stoning of Soraya M, The Younger Messiah, and Infidel beforehand. The screenplay is written by Betsy Giffen Nowrasteh & Cyrus Nowrasteh. Tailored from the e-book titled “Looking for Sarah Rector: The Richest Black Woman in America” written by Tonya Bolden. It’s produced by Kevin Downes, Andrew Erwin, Jon Erwin, Daryl Lefever, Zachary Levi, John Shepherd, Derrick Williams, Cyrus Nowrasteh. Amazon MGM opens Nowrasteh’s Sarah’s Oilfilm in theaters beginning on November seventh, 2025
