Protests over immigration raids pop up across the U.S., with more planned

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Protests over federal immigration enforcement raids and President Donald Trump’s transfer to mobilize the Nationwide Guard and Marines in Los Angeles are spreading nationwide and are anticipated to proceed into the weekend.

Whereas many demonstrations towards the Immigration and Customs Enforcement company have been peaceable, with marchers chanting slogans and carrying indicators, others have led to clashes with police, a whole bunch of arrests, and the usage of chemical irritants to disperse crowds.
