Protests in LA escalate after the president’s National Guard deployment

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Tensions in Los Angeles escalated June 8 as 1000’s of protesters took to the streets in response to President Donald Trump’s extraordinary deployment of the Nationwide Guard, blockading a significant freeway and setting autonomous automobiles on hearth as native regulation enforcement used tear gasoline, rubber bullets and flash bangs to manage the group.
