NAACP hires ex-Biden DOJ civil rights chief as group takes on Trump: ‘Legal mind this moment demands’

Kristen Clarke, the previous head of the U.S. Division of Justice Civil Rights workplace beneath the Biden administration, has joined the NAACP as its basic counsel, the civil rights group introduced on Wednesday.

In her new function on the NAACP, Clarke will oversee the civil rights group’s authorized technique and operations.
