Mississippi Cop Arrested for Allegedly Stealing $140 Shoes from Sports Store While on Duty, Wearing Uniform

A Columbus, Mississippi, police officer was fired from her job after being accused of stealing a $140 pair of sneakers. 

Officers stated Robin Conner, 33, swiped the merchandise from a neighborhood Dick’s Sporting Items simply after 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb 21, whereas on responsibility, wearing uniform and utilizing her patrol automobile, WTVA and the Columbus Dispatch reported. 

Her co-workers responded to the shop after receiving a name from an worker. Once they arrived on the scene, the officers took Conner into custody, based on the reviews. She was jailed, charged with misdemeanor shoplifting, and granted a $862 surety bond.
