Malawian President Mutharika abolishes school fees nationwide

Malawian President Peter Mutharika has introduced that, beginning January subsequent 12 months, faculty charges for each main and secondary schooling shall be scrapped throughout the nation.

Mutharika abolishes faculty charges nationwide

Mutharika additionally thanked Malawians for his or her continued assist and belief throughout the latest basic elections. He pledged that his administration would serve all residents equally, no matter tribe or area.

Mutharika urged residents to stay affected person as his authorities rolls out measures aimed toward restoring stability.

President Mutharika returns to energy

Mutharika not too long ago returned as Malawian president, marking a shocking political turnaround.

This time, he secured victory with about 56% of the vote, defeating incumbent Lazarus Chakwera, who garnered 33%.

Understanding Malawi schooling

Malawi’s main and secondary schooling system is managed by the Ministry of Schooling, which goals to offer inclusive and equitable studying for all youngsters.

Major schooling lasts eight years.

After finishing main faculty, college students take the Major College Leaving Certificates Examination (PSLCE) to qualify for secondary schooling, which runs for 4 years and ends with the Malawi College Certificates of Schooling (MSCE) exams.
