He Is Extra Than A Hero
He’s greater than a hero
he’s a god in my eyes-
the person who’s allowed
to take a seat beside you – he
who listens intimately
to the candy murmur of
your voice, the engaging
laughter that makes my very own
coronary heart beat quick. If I meet
you out of the blue, I can’
converse – my tongue is damaged;
a skinny flame runs beneath
my pores and skin; seeing nothing,
listening to solely my very own ears
drumming, I drip with sweat;
trembling shakes my physique
and I flip paler than
dry grass. At such instances
loss of life is not removed from me
