Ghana’s University of Cape Coast appoints first visually impaired person as law lecturer

Ghana’s College of Cape Coast (UCC) has named Carruthers Tetteh, a visually impaired individual, as a lecturer within the College of Regulation. His appointment, efficient since December 2023, entails educating Legal Regulation and the Ghana Authorized System.

Regardless of dropping his sight on the age of 11 attributable to a drug response, Tetteh has at all times been pushed by a ardour for legislation and advocacy for the much less privileged, in response to the UCC.
