‘Fauda’ Indian Adaptation ‘Tanaav’ Renewed for Season 2

“Tanaav,” the Indian adaptation of the worldwide hit thriller collection “Fauda,” will return for a second season. India’s Applause Leisure, the content material studio of India’s Aditya Birla Group, has secured format rights to Season 2 from Israel’s Sure Studios.

Produced by Applause Leisure, “Tanaav” efficiently premiered on SonyLIV in November 2022. The collection is transposed from Israel and Palestine to the troubled space that’s Kashmir and tells the story of a Particular Covert Ops Unit.

Season 1 of “Tanaav” featured a stellar solid, together with Manav Vij, Sumit Kaul, Rajat Kapoor and Shashank Arora, and was directed by Sudhir Mishra (“Severe Males”) and co-directed by Sachin Mamta Krishn (“Hostages”). Manufacturing on Season 2 has commenced.

Sharon Levi, managing director of Sure Studios, identified that “Tanaav” was the primary native adaptation of “Fauda,” the “first large world hit” of Sure Studios.

Talking of Applause Leisure, Levi mentioned: “It was essential for us to work with the fitting accomplice, one that would deftly cowl differing views in a extremely complicated scenario and create attention-grabbing and related characters anchored in its personal distinctive native setting and circumstances.”

Sameer Nair, managing director of Applause Leisure, mentioned “Tanaav” Season 1 was a convincing success. “The groups at Applause and Sony LIV are pumped as we got down to craft an much more gripping story for our viewers with a Season 2.” Nair described the present as a story of “braveness, battle, and camaraderie.”

”‘Fauda’ is about two nations, Israel and Palestine and it’s about two religions. We didn’t wish to try this. This isn’t about faith. This isn’t about Hindu versus Muslim.
