Fannie Lou Hamer Was ‘Sick And Tired‘ And Sick And Dying Of Breast Cancer

On Oct. 6, 1917, Fannie Lou Hamer was born in Montgomery County, Mississippi. She died March 14, 1977, at age 59, after aggressively combating breast most cancers.
