Docu Talent Award Goes to ‘A Song Without Home’

The Docu Expertise from the East Award was given to Georgian director Rati Tsiteladze’s “A Tune With out Residence” on Monday at CineLink Business Days, a part of the Sarajevo Movie Pageant.

The movie facilities on Adelina, a younger transgender lady from a Georgian village who flees to Vienna. As she navigates newfound freedom, the scars of her previous and the hostility her mom faces again house for supporting her complicate her new life.

The movie is produced by Olga Slusareva at ArtWay Movie.

The jury mentioned: “Distinctive visuals will entice the viewers, who will then discover a heartfelt portrayal of a life lived with honesty, regardless of the hazard posed to the protagonist.”

The Avanpost Publish-Manufacturing Award went to Armenian-Swiss co-production “Flying Cows” by administrators Vahagn Khachatryan and Aren Malakyan, produced by Vahagn Khachatryana and Irene Muñoz Martin.

This atypical highway film begins with Apo trying to find his cow in a village in Nagorno-Karabakh, in opposition to the backdrop of the battle between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The DAFilms.com Distribution Award went to “Land of Fireplace” by Czech director Nikola Klinger, produced by Kristina Husová.

Within the nation struck by wildfires, a grieving father’s quest for justice for his murdered daughter intertwines with tales of loss, resilience and religious cleaning, as native communities face tragedy by way of conventional rituals and demolition derby races.
