City Planners Gift World-Class Skate Park to Local Community Youth – Los Angeles Sentinel

The Metropolis of Los Angeles Division of Recreation and Parks and a coalition of neighborhood organizations celebrated the grand opening of a world-class skate park on Feb. 22, at 1824 E one hundred and fifteenth Avenue and Wilmington Ave.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the long-awaited Watts Skate Park stood as a testomony to the ability of neighborhood collaboration and the challenge companions’ dedication to fostering wholesome, lively existence for all communities.

Group members had been invited to seize their boards for a day of enjoyable with household and pals. Watts Skate Park was designed as a secure and galvanizing area for skaters of all ages, talent ranges, and talents.
