Black Leaders React To HUD Chief Retiring

U.S. Housing and City Improvement (HUD) Secretary Marcia Fudge was being showered with praises and gratitude by Black leaders particularly after she introduced Monday her surprising resignation from President Joe Biden’s cupboard.

The resignation is about to take impact almost three years to the day when she was confirmed. It was not instantly clear why she plans to resign from HUD.

HUD Secretary Marcia Fudge’s tenure
