The 97th Oscars crimson carpet was a masterclass of opulence, and pure style domination. Our faves didn’t simply present up—they shut all of it the way in which down. Halle Berry graced the carpet just like the icon she is, serving timeless magnificence and easy glam, whereas EBONY Cowl Star Cynthia Erivo reminded us that style is an artwork kind with a daring, avant-garde look that had the women gagging. Queen Latifah stepped out draped in luxurious, however let’s be actual—her hair was laid to perfection, a real crowning second. The boys like Colman Domingo and Jeremy Pope gave us sharp, fashionable suiting with sudden twists, whereas the ladies floated in like royalty, draped in materials that screamed luxurious. Whether or not it was a statement-making daring shade, an architectural silhouette, or old-Hollywood glam with a melanin-rich glow, one factor was clear—Black stars got here to remind the world that after we step on the carpet, we personal it.

And let’s discuss concerning the magnificence! Flawless pores and skin, sculpted hair, and melanin-poppin’ glam have been in full impact. The beat? Immaculate. The hair? A second. From Halle’s and Anok Yai’s quick cuts to Queen Latifah’s silky perfection, each element gave Black magnificence supremacy. The jewellery? Dripping. Whether or not it was contemporary takes on basic waves, daring eye moments, or shiny, assertion lips, each look felt like a love letter to Black magnificence and tradition. This 12 months’s Oscars crimson carpet wasn’t nearly style—it was about legacy, affect and the indisputable fact that Black Hollywood is, and all the time shall be, the blueprint.
