Black Author Releases New Children’s Book About Friendship, Creativity, and Community

A heartwarming new youngsters’s guide is galloping into the hearts of readers.

Nationwide — Have You Seen My Hat?, written by Kentucky native Ladie Warfield, is a joyful journey celebrating friendship, creativity, and neighborhood set in opposition to the colourful backdrop of the Kentucky Derby Children’ Parade. “Scripting this guide was about greater than making a story,” Warfield says. “It was about capturing the creativeness of kids and reminding them of the facility of compassion and belonging particularly when life feels unsure.” Along with her wealthy Kentucky roots and a coronary heart devoted to therapeutic, Warfield’s storytelling brings a uncommon authenticity and emotional depth to youngsters’s literature.

Have You Seen My Hat? is ideal for kids ages 4-8, educators, and households in search of various, participating books that encourage pleasure, empathy, and curiosity.
