*Critics and UK audiences are wild about “Rye Lane,” a 2023 British romantic comedy-drama movie directed by Raine Allen-Miller starring Vivian Oparah and David Jonsson.

Oparah mentioned the movie is a love letter to dark-skinned Black characters.
