Contained in the beautiful inside of Tatiana by Kwame Onwuachi, the recent new eatery from the celebrated chef, you are certain to note a stunning piece of paintings on one among its partitions. Onwuachi commissioned LA-based artist Kohshin Finley to create the work, which options Tatiana, the restaurant’s namesake and Onwuachi’s sister, cuddled together with her two daughters.
“Kwame requested me to do it, and I stated ‘sure’ instantly,” Finley shares with EBONY. “He stated, I would like you to color my sister and her daughters, and we began spitballing about what the portray could be about. We talked about motherhood, and we talked about pleasure, ache, safety and persistence. I frolicked with Tatiana and her daughters for a few hours, and it was only a magical, easy expertise.”
