Alleged Undefeated ‘Fake’ Lawyer Arrested In Kenya After Winning 26 Cases

A Kenyan man, who gained 26 courtroom instances with none defeats, was arrested for false pretenses for portraying himself as a lawyer in Nairobi,  Kenya.

Based on NDTV, Brian Mwenda, who has appeared earlier than Magistrates, Courtroom of Enchantment Judges, and Excessive Courtroom judges and has gained each case, has been taken into custody by Kenyan police. The group acknowledged that he by some means obtained entry to their portal and “recognized an account with a reputation comparable to his, tampered with the main points, and uploaded his personal picture in a bid to infiltrate Kenya’s authorized occupation,” Ghana Net reported.

The Regulation Society of Kenya mentioned they realized that the alleged imposter “stole the identification of a lawyer with a reputation that’s much like his – Brian Mwenda Ntwiga.” They didn’t know till Ntwiga contacted them to allow them to know he “may not log into the system.”

They realized the e-mail deal with Ntwiga used didn’t match what was within the system.

“On the fifth Day of August 2022, Brian Mwenda Ntwiga was admitted to the Bar and his appropriate electronic mail deal with was captured and an Account opened for him within the Advocates portal. We reached out to Advocate Brian Mwenda Ntwiga who confirmed that he had not utilized for a working towards certificates since his admission, cause being that he had been working on the Workplace of the Legal professional Common and didn’t require a Training Certificates,” in accordance with a press release from the group.

The Regulation Society of Kenya noticed that “someday in September 2023,” Mwenda modified the profile picture and office, and paid for the working towards certificates. “Nonetheless, his utility was not processed since he was required to offer paperwork, together with the certificates of enterprise incorporation.”

BBC Information reported that Mike Sonko, the previous governor of Kenya’s capital, Nairobi, is within the nook of the alleged pretend lawyer. A posted video with him and Mwenda seems on X, previously often called Twitter.
