Mezzo-soprano, composer, and multi-dimensional artist Alicia Corridor Moran brings her indoor ice-skating present to Nationwide Sawdust for 2 units on Sept. 15. “Chilly Blooded” (an “alt opera idea for the ice,” as described on her web site) options the Palms Free quartet (James Moore, Caroline Shaw, Nathan Koci, and Eleonore Oppenheim), plus percussionist Jacqueline Acevedo, dancer Olivia Bowman-Jackson, ice dancer Sarah France, and guitarists Brandon Ross and Thomas Flippin.
Moran explores contact with ice as an expertise and consists of some conventional notions of ice skating in a night of artistry and athleticism. For more information and tickets, go to www.nationalsawdust.org.
