Authorities say an Alabama lady shot her husband to loss of life as he slept in his mattress whereas 5 youngsters had been within the dwelling.

Authorities have nonetheless not launched a motive for why 42-year-old Annie Huffstutler allegedly murdered 38-year-old Shawn Christian Watson.

The Dale County Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned they had been referred to as to the couple’s dwelling in Ariton, Alabama, simply after 2:30 a.m. on June 14. Responding deputies discovered Watson unresponsive, and a coroner pronounced him useless on the scene.

They discovered that the 5 youngsters within the dwelling didn’t see something, however they did hear the gunshots go off. Deputies say one of many youngsters referred to as 911 after the taking pictures.

Huffstutler was taken into custody and charged with homicide. She stays in jail with out bond.

Authorities say that she and Watson are married however use totally different final names.

Members of the family paid tribute to Watson on social media.

In a heartfelt submit on Fb, Watson’s sister wrote, “You’re perpetually my brother my man chaser away lol and my bestie I really like you and your an angel in heaven.”
