Within the blue sky only a few specks of grey
Within the night of a stupendous day
Although final night time it rained and extra rain on the best way
And that extra rain is required ‘twould be honest to say
On a gum tree within the park the white backed magpie sing
He sings all 12 months spherical from the Summer time to Spring
However in late Winter and Spring he even sings at night time
So good to listen to him piping within the moonlight
Spring it’s with us and Summer time is close to
And exquisite climate for the time of 12 months
Such magnificence the poets and the artists encourage
Of speaking of Nature might one ever tire
Her inexperienced of September Mom Nature put on
And the perfumes of blossoms within the night air.
