Jonathan Glazer’s “The Zone of Curiosity” and Andrew Haigh’s “All of Us Strangers” led the forty fourth annual London Critics’ Circle Awards with three wins apiece.
Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” and Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie,” which had seven and 5 nominations respectively, left the ceremony empty handed.
German-language movie “The Zone of Curiosity” was named movie of the 12 months and likewise gained the route prize and the technical achievement award for its music and sound. “All of Us Strangers” gained the Attenborough Award for British/Irish movie of the 12 months, with Andrew Scott named actor of the 12 months and co-star Paul Mescal successful British/Irish performer for his physique of labor in 2023.
