With ‘Othello,’ Denzel Washington proves why he is a legend

I used to be thrilled once I heard that William Shakespeare;s “Othello,” starring Denzel Washington, was coming to Broadway. Denzel’s rendition of the Moor delivers ardour, anger, empathy, and vulnerability. And what’s moreover nice is that he’s joined on stage by a stupendous forged. Jake Gyllenhaal, diabolically evil as Iago, takes that character’s jealousy, hatred, and revenge to a degree of no redemption.
