Wedding bells on the way? Claressa Shields says her Papoose tattoo indicates he’s husband material

Claressa Shields isn’t pulling any punches on the subject of her love for Papoose.

The Olympic champion and undefeated boxer sat down with Justin Laboy for his “Respectfully” podcast and hinted that she and Pap’s two-year-long relationship could also be a bit deeper than the general public is aware of.

“I all the time stated I needed to get my husband’s title tatted on me,” Shields advised LaBoy in the course of the 55-minute mark of the podcast’s newest episode, which premiered on Friday (Dec. 5). “I all the time stated that. So me and Pap will not be married but, however we shall be.”

There’s a small factor to recollect. Papoose has but to finalize his divorce from his estranged spouse, Remy Ma, regardless of each events transferring on.

So far as the timeline of when Shields obtained the ink, she reveals she obtained the tattoo when the connection between her and Papoose was nonetheless “non-public” and obtained it completed whereas in her hometown of Flint, Michigan.

Shields revealed she confirmed Papoose the tattoo, his title close to her proper breast, on FaceTime. She then obtained on Instagram Dwell and revealed the ink to most of the people, telling followers she ought to have gotten Papoose’s title “twice” and can most likely get his title tattooed on her butt subsequent.

“My man sit proper there, boo!” she advised followers. “Papoose, Papoose!”

Elsewhere within the interview with Laboy, Shields expressed why she cherished her man.

“I didn’t care about no boyfriend till I used to be 17 after I received the Olympics,” Shields stated. “I don’t actually like folks like that to be getting hollered at if that is sensible. I like Pap, and that simply sums it up. I like Pap so far as how he helps my profession, how he helps me, how he’s my greatest buddy, how we are able to speak about something. How we chortle, how protecting he’s. Folks assume as a result of I’m very robust and I’m very assured? I do have my instances after I’m very pissed off and I’m having a tough time.
