Artwork on THE MART, the world’s largest everlasting digital artwork projection, is giving its hometown dance corporations a bit of love. Its 2023 summer time season includes a new fee by the Chicago Black Dance Legacy Challenge, a multi-year mission housed on the Logan Middle on the College of Chicago that goals to uplift and strengthen the impression of Black dance in Chicago, and past. The 15-minute visible set up is projected on the limestone façade of The Mart, Chicago’s artwork deco central market in Merchandise Mart Plaza.
The Massive Bang: Motion Concept + the Black Dancing Physique showcases 10 corporations performing unique choreography that’s designed to take audiences on a journey.
