Valerie Camille Ford: 2025 inductee to National Teachers Hall of Fame

Valerie Camille Jones Ford, an award-winning arithmetic trainer at Ron Clark Academy (RCA) in Atlanta and Spelman Faculty alumna will likely be inducted into the Nationwide Academics Corridor of Fame (NTHF) class of 2025 on June 20.

The inductees are infamous for going the additional mile for his or her college students. To be nominated and inducted is an unbelievable feat, one which solely 165 educators since 1992 have achieved. 

Jones Ford would be the second educator from Atlanta to obtain this honor, the fourth from Georgia, and the sixth Black lady to ever be inducted.

The longtime arithmetic educator has been instructing at RCA for 15 years and has over 25 years of instructing expertise. “We should begin by affirming the worth and dignity of the instructing career,” she mentioned. “Educating isn’t just noble, however revolutionary.
