Unarmed Black Mom Survives Being Shot Six Times By Police, Files $25M Lawsuit

Nationwide — Tracey Allen, an African American mom from Detroit, Michigan, survived being shot six instances throughout a site visitors cease and is now suing the officer concerned and the town. She says the encounter escalated with out trigger and left her with severe accidents.

The officer who fired the pictures, Zachary Melvin, was suspended with out pay and stays off responsibility. Allen has filed a $25 million federal lawsuit towards Melvin and the town. Metropolis officers and the Detroit Police Division declined to remark because of the ongoing case.
