Theodore “Ted” Kaczynski, the Harvard-educated mathematician who ran a virtually two-decade-long bombing spree that killed 3 and injured 23, died Saturday (June 10) at 81.
As reported by AP Information, the person branded by the FBI because the “Unabomber” died on the federal jail medical middle in Butner.
Federal Bureau of Prisons spokesperson Kristie Breshears confirmed Kaczynski’s dying at round 8 am Saturday morning, after being discovered unresponsive in his jail cell.

Previous to his switch to Butner, Kaczynski was held within the federal Supermax jail in Florence, CO since he was sentenced to 4 life sentences plus 30 years for his crime spree in Might 1998. He admitted to committing 16 bombings from 1978 to 1995.
Within the midst of his spree, his 35,000-word manifesto, “Industrial Society and Its Future,” was revealed by The Washington Put up in September 1995. In it, Kaczynski claimed that fashionable society and know-how had been resulting in a way of powerlessness and alienation.
Nonetheless, the manifesto finally led to his seize, as Kaczynski’s brother and sister-in-law acknowledged his tone and tipped off the FBI. He was captured in April 1996.
