“I spent the summer time in Nairobi, Kenya, with a fellowship from the American Associates Service Committee, a Quaker group devoted to service, the place we had been compelled to make use of bottled water to brush our tooth,” stated Kymone Freeman, creator of NINEVEH. “I noticed individuals accumulating water the place goats had been ingesting. I noticed dad and mom feed infants Coca-Cola of their bottles as a result of the soda was safer than the obtainable water. Immediately, we see the water disaster even in America, from the Flint water disaster to now in Jackson, Mississippi.”

In NINEVEH, outdated cities are actually underwater because of local weather change, and new cities have emerged. A large international drought mixed with an epic contamination of the world’s restricted recent water provide mixed with the privatization of the remaining unpolluted aquifers has created a disaster of biblical proportions. Because of this, water has been priced past the affordability of the lots, forcing them to gather rainwater, which constitutes as the brand new contraband. With a mind-altering drug launched into the restricted public provide, few resisters dared to defy the final word fascist system.

The Resistance is led by Ndbele, a gifted instructor and sage. His daughter, Evolon, is his biggest warrior, and Bethlehem is his most trusted ally.
