South African funnyman Trevor Noah has been nominated for a Golden Globe award.

The 81st Golden Globe Awards will happen on 7 January 2024.
Noah was nominated in a ‘new’ award class named ‘Finest efficiency in stand-up comedy on tv’.
Noah, 39, the previous host of The Every day Present, acquired his nomination for his efficiency on The place Was I.

The Netflix documentary comedy is the Johannesburg-born comic’s fourth authentic comedy particular on Netflix and can be obtainable to stream from Tuesday, 19 December.
Along with I Want You Would, Son of Patricia, and Afraid of the Darkish, Noah’s Golden Globe-nominated The place Was I particulars the quirky and hilarious experiences from his world travels whereas on his Off the File world stand-up tour.
Noah faces stiff opposition for the award from fellow nominees Ricky Gervais, Chris Rock, Amy Schumer, Sarah Silverman and Wanda Sykes.
