Toni Morrison honored with new stamp – AFRO American Newspapers

Nobel laureate and former Texas Southern College school member Toni Morrison was just lately “endlessly immortalized” on a stamp honoring her prolific profession as an uncompromising, “for the tradition” author, editor, scholar and mentor.

The brand new stamp was unveiled this month in a tribute at Princeton College, the place Morrison taught for nearly twenty years.

A “who’s who” checklist of visitor audio system shared phrases of celebration through Zoom, together with President Barack Obama, endlessly First Girl Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey.
