Toddler Arrested In Rosa Parks Classroom Role Play

Constructing Brains Academy, a college in Florida, has been condemned by the NAACP for permitting a Black little one to be arrested in a job play lesson on Rosa Parks.

A Florida faculty is underneath hearth for allegedly letting a Black toddler be fingerprinted and arrested in handcuffs for enjoying Rosa Parks on December 1, an incident the NAACP calls “racially unethical.”

Constructing Brains Academy performed the function play in one among its lessons, comprised of 2- and 3-year-olds, who had been taught about Parks’ function within the civil rights motion. The varsity has since mentioned that the instructor has apologized and understands the hurt brought about regardless of the intention.
