Tina Turner, Legendary Rock Singer, Dies at 83

Tina Turner, the “Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll” whose legend skyrocketed after overcoming a  bitter, violence-filled marriage and divorce to musician Ike Turner, has died on the age of 83.

The celebrity’s household confirmed her demise in an announcement Wednesday, noting that Turner died “peacefully” at her house close to Zurich, Switzerland.
