The Weeknd Provides Millions of Emergency Meals to Gaza

*The Weeknd has directed $2.5 million from his XO Humanitarian Fund to help emergency efforts in Gaza.

The United Nations World Meals Programme introduced the musician’s (born Abel Tesfaye) initiative on Dec. 1, Billboard experiences. Due to the donation, 1.8 million kilos of meals parcels – equal to 4 million emergency meals – will probably be delivered to over 173,000 Palestinians for 2 weeks, per the report.
