The 8th annual Critics’ Choice Association Celebration of Black Cinema & Television brings Black Hollywood out in style

It’s that point of yr once more — end-of-year gala season has formally arrived, and Black Hollywood is losing no time getting into the glamor and good occasions.

On Tuesday, Dec. 9 the Critics’ Selection Affiliation hosted the eighth annual Celebration of Black Cinema & Tv on the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, gathering the business’s most enjoyable creatives underneath one vibrant roof.

Hosted by Jay Pharoah, who returned to helm the ceremony for the second time together with his signature humor and charisma, the star-studded occasion celebrated the standout achievements of the previous yr throughout movie and tv. A-list attendees included Spike Lee, Ryan Coogler, Sterling Okay. Brown, Tessa Thompson, Janelle James, Skye P. Marshall, Teyana Taylor, Regina Corridor, Damson Idris, Jurnee Smollett, Tenika Davis, David Alan Grier, Reginald Hudlin, Shola Lynch, and lots of extra, all turning out to have a good time Black storytelling at its most interesting.
