TD Ready Challenge deploying $1-million grants to 10 organizations addressing affordable housing

TD Financial institution is awarding 10 $1-million grants to organizations throughout the nation which can be working to mitigate the housing affordability disaster. The sixth annual TD Prepared Problem targets nonprofits designing revolutionary options that deal with systemic boundaries and improve entry to reasonably priced housing. 

Functions for the problem shut on Sep. 13, and winners will likely be notified in early 2024.

The City League of Broward County, a South Florida affiliate of the Nationwide City League, was a 2020 recipient of the TD Prepared Problem. Throughout the pandemic, the City League of Broward County helped people entry well being care and COVID testing and educated them about correct social distancing. The grant from TD Financial institution allowed the City League of Broward County to seize its personal knowledge from the households it serves, in the end serving to them to higher deal with challenges and put households ready to thrive. 

Biscardi applauded the financial institution’s deal with reasonably priced housing for the 2023 TD Prepared Problem.
