Taylor Thomas Brings Family and Media into Focus Through Paint and Collage – Los Angeles Sentinel

Along with her arresting work and complex collages, Taylor Thomas captures the emotional weight of household historical past and the mediated expertise of seeing Black life on display screen. Her work combines acrylic on canvas with mixed-media components similar to mirrors, plastic, and located supplies, layering textures that carry each private and cultural reminiscence.
