Sonya Eddy was posthumously honored with an Emmy Award on Friday, Dec. 15.
The actress handed away in December 2022 aged 55 after growing an an infection following surgical procedure, and on the Daytime Emmy Awards, she was named the winner of Excellent Supporting Actress in a Daytime Drama Collection for her work as Epiphany Johnson in “Normal Hospital,” a task she had performed since 2006.
