Generally I dream that I can fly.
I elevate and flap my arms simply so,
And shortly I am hovering to the sky.
Sleek like a fowl I am going.
I discover a fluffy cotton cloud
And catch myself a comfortable experience.
I can’t hear a single sound,
As slowly via the air I glide.
My silky cloud floats with the breeze,
Via the bluest sky.
Identical to a sailboat on the ocean,
With seagulls swooping by.
I look upon the streets under
And spy my associates at play.
I dive and dip and twirl round,
As they watch in awe and wave.
I really feel so giddy, mild and free,
The solar so heat and vibrant.
I feel that I shall fly all day,
And catch a star at evening.
However then the wind begins to blow,
And the clouds flip offended grey.
They growl and rumble as they go,
And chase the birds away.
And although it is enjoyable to the touch the sky,
I begin to really feel alone.
I do not really feel welcome anymore,
I feel maybe I ought to go residence.
So I elevate my arms and tuck my head,
And drift again to the bottom.
And when my ft are again on earth,
The rain comes pouring down.
Certainly I had the grandest time,
Up within the boundless sky.
But it surely’s actually a lot too lonely there
To reside in on a regular basis.
And although my associates seemed as much as me
And my heroic flying feats,
It appeared they appreciated me simply as a lot
Once I stood on my two ft.
So I will do my flying in my desires,
The place it is all simply make consider.
And in actual life, I will keep proper right here,
The place I am liked simply being me.
