E.television’s telenovelas Home of Zwide and Smoke and Mirrors can have a crossover this week when Caesar and Thandiswa get married.
‘SMOKE AND MIRRORS’: WEDDING
Smoke and Mirrors’ Caesar (Zolisa Xaluva) this previous week already hinted the crossover when he talked to Home of Zwide’s Funani.
Within the scene, Caesar talks to Funani (Vusi Kunene) on the cellphone although not many particulars have been revealed.
TVSA confirms that Caesar will take Thandiswa (Ayanda Bandla) to Funani’s vogue home, Home of Zwide this week.
Tuesday, 9 April teaser reads: “Caesar takes Thandiswa to the Home of Zwide for her marriage ceremony costume becoming.”
The function of Caesar will likely be performed by Hlomla Dandala when season two begins on Monday, 15 April.
‘HOUSE OF ZWIDE’: BACKGROUND
Dressmaker and businessman, Funani Zwide is the founder and proprietor of Home of Zwide whereas Winnie Ntshaba performs his ex-wife, Religion Zwide.
Isidingo star Motlatsi Mafatshe, performs the comedic Uncle Molefe, who brings humour to the present and drama.
Isibaya star Jeffrey Sekele, is a sympathetic gangster and former Umkhonto we Sizwe veteran known as Isaac.
He kidnapped and adopted Funani’s daughter, Ona Molapo often known as Zobuhle Zwide, who can also be a designer.
Radio, TV persona and former Uzalo actor Khaya Dladla performs Lazarus, Funani Zwide’s lifelong confidante. He’s liable for decoding and executing his designs.
Different main stars embody Nefisa Mkhabela, who portrays Ona Molapo, whereas Wanda Zuma and Shalate Sekhabi play husband and spouse Nkosi and Shoki Zwide.
